Great to meet you!

Welcome! I work exclusively with law students & early-career attorneys, graduate students, and early-career professionals, and mental health providers. (*Separately, I provide clinical supervision to clinicians seeking LCPC Illinois licensure). Treatment expertise includes depressive and anxiety symptoms, relationship transitions, occupational or academic stress, and other adjustment issues. I welcome and serve clients across all genders, identities, and backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

I am guided by DBT (i.e. mindfulness; distress tolerance; emotion regulation; and interpersonal effectiveness) and CBT school of thought (i.e. how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are influenced by each other). Expect to receive action plans, or “homework”, to continue our work or to practice a skill in-between sessions.

What you can expect from me

Our first scheduled appointment will include a thorough assessment where I’ll inquire about your current experiences and symptomology. I will also ask about your health; eating and sleeping habits; substance use; childhood history; strengths and supports, etc. in order to see you most holistically. Additionally, standardized assessments will be filled out to bolster evidence of a formal diagnosis. From there, I’ll gather my initial clinical impressions and share them with you.

After our assessment, we’ll begin our therapy journey together. Within the next 1-2 sessions, we’ll work together to create therapy goals. We will also collaborate on our future cadence of working together. Many of my clients are seen on a weekly or biweekly basis. However, some clients may be seen every 3-4 weeks as appropriate. Therapy may last for a few months to more than a year.

For clients who are self-pay or utilizing superbills, or for clinicians seeking clinical supervision towards licensure, please reach out directly at [email protected] for scheduling.
