Great to meet you!

I am a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with over 20 years of nursing experience, including more than 11 years as an APRN. My clinical background includes inpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry, crisis stabilization, and community mental health. I have extensive experience in psychiatric evaluations, medication management, substance use disorders, and interdisciplinary collaboration. I am dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to patient education, evidence-based care, and individualized treatment. My goal is to build trust with each patient while providing compassionate, comprehensive care focused on improving long-term outcomes.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe in taking the time to understand each patient as a whole person, including their symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, personal goals, lifestyle, and unique circumstances.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where they can feel comfortable sharing their concerns. I will take time to understand their current symptoms, medical and psychiatric history, medications, lifestyle, and treatment goals. Then work with the client to explore appropriate treatment options and develop an individualized plan together.
