Great to meet you!

As your Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I want you to know that I see you as more than your symptoms—I care about you as a whole person. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and experiences.

I believe that the best care happens when we work together. I will listen carefully to your concerns, respect your perspective, and involve you in decisions about your treatment. Whether we are discussing therapy or medications, I will take the time to explain things clearly so you feel informed and confident in your care.

Building trust is very important to me. I am committed to maintaining your privacy and creating a therapeutic relationship where you feel supported and respected.

Above all, I want you to know that I am here for you—to support you, guide you, and walk alongside you throughout your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is patient-centered and collaborative. I focus on understanding each client as a whole person and creating a safe, supportive space where they feel heard and respected.

I use evidence-based practices, including therapy and medication management when appropriate, while tailoring care to each client’s individual needs and goals. I also prioritize clear communication and education so clients feel informed and involved in their treatment.

My goal is to support, empower, and promote overall mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where we begin getting to know each other. I will ask questions about your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being.

This session is also an opportunity for you to share your goals and what you hope to gain from treatment. I will take time to listen, answer your questions, and explain my approach to care.

By the end of the visit, we will begin developing a plan together, which may include therapy, lifestyle strategies, or medication if appropriate. My goal is to ensure you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
