Great to meet you!

Hi; My name is Idola Obalola and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. I have been working in the social work field for over 20+ years. I have experiencing working with infants through the elderly population. I treat others like I would want to be treated and non-judgmental. I have a lot of experience working with individual's dealing with mental illness such as Anixety and Depression. I also have experience working with families on how to cope with different life stressors. I look forward with working with you all.

My approach to therapy

I tend to think of working with clients as a partnership because I learn from them as they learn me. I also think it's important to have clients know that they are not the only individuals going through a situation. Therefore; if I think it would help a client I don't have an issue with disclosing information about myself.

What you can expect from me

Clients can anticipate a warm and welcoming first session. I am a active listener and tend to inquire about a client's main goal for coming onto the platform. If client's are not sure about this goal; that's ok!!
