Great to meet you!

I am Iesha Nwagwu, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing accessible, compassionate, and patient-centered mental health care. I specialize in the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management of a range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, and bipolar disorder.

My passion for mental health care is deeply personal. Having supported and cared for family members living with mental health challenges, I witnessed firsthand the importance of empathy, understanding, and timely access to quality care. These experiences shaped my commitment to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing journey.

I believe in a holistic and collaborative approach to care—one that not only addresses symptoms but also prioritizes overall well-being, education, and long-term resilience. My goal is to partner with each patient to develop personalized treatment plans that promote stability, growth, and improved quality of life.

Outside of my professional role, I enjoy traveling, exploring new foods, and creating meaningful memories with friends. I also value time spent with family, especially during the holidays, which helps me stay grounded and connected to what matters most.

My approach is collaborative and evidence-based, emphasizing individualized treatment plans that respect each client’s goals, values, and lived experiences.
