He treats adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, stress-related disorders, and behavioral concerns.

Mr. Bogunovic completed his medical training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and takes a holistic, patient-centered approach to psychiatric care. What you can expect from me

Your first appointment with Igor Bogunovic is designed to provide a comfortable, supportive, and judgment-free environment where you can openly discuss your concerns and goals for treatment. The initial session focuses on getting to know you as a whole person — not just your symptoms.

During the evaluation, Igor will review your emotional and mental health history, current symptoms, medical background, medications, lifestyle factors, stressors, and treatment goals. Patients are encouraged to ask questions and actively participate in developing a personalized treatment plan.

Depending on your needs, the first session may include:

  • Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation
  • Discussion of previous treatment experiences
  • Diagnostic assessment
  • Medication recommendations when appropriate
  • Supportive therapeutic guidance
  • Education about symptoms, treatment options, and wellness strategies

The goal of the first visit is to create a collaborative plan that helps you feel informed, supported, and confident about your care moving forward. Patients can expect compassionate listening, professionalism, confidentiality, and evidence-based psychiatric treatment tailored to their individual needs.
