Great to meet you!

I have been working in the medical field since 2002, bringing over two decades of experience in patient care. I became a Nurse Practitioner in 2021 and went on to earn my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification in 2024. I completed my education at the University of Cincinnati, where I am double board-certified.

With over four years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, I combine clinical expertise with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. I believe in listening closely and working collaboratively with each individual to help them navigate life’s challenges. My practice emphasizes a holistic approach to care, recognizing the connection between mental, emotional, and physical well-being

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care, creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. My style is warm, approachable, and grounded in active listening, allowing me to fully understand each individual’s experiences and goals before developing a treatment plan.

I use a holistic approach that considers the connection between mental, emotional, and physical health. I work closely with clients to navigate life’s challenges, whether they are dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, or major life transitions. My goal is to empower clients with practical tools, education, and support so they can build resilience and achieve lasting well-being.

With my background as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I also incorporate medication management when appropriate, always ensuring clients are informed and involved in decisions about their care. I strive to meet each person where they are and tailor treatment to their unique needs, helping them move forward with confidence and optimism.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my focus is on getting to know you as a whole person. We’ll talk about your history, current concerns, and what has brought you in, as well as the goals you’d like to work toward. I take time to listen and understand your unique experiences so we can build a strong foundation for care.

This initial visit is also a collaborative process, we’ll begin to explore what approaches may work best for you and create a plan that aligns with your needs and preferences. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, supported, and heard, while leaving the session with a clearer sense of direction and a path forward that you can truly benefit from.
