Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a strong foundation in both education and clinical mental health. I earned my BA in Psychology and later completed my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Before becoming a clinician, I worked as a middle school educator for five years, which deeply shaped my ability to connect with adolescents and families.

Clinically, I have extensive experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults across the lifespan. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, family and relational conflict, identity exploration, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, collaborative, and client-centered. I take time to build genuine rapport and create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. I tailor treatment to each individual’s goals, strengths, and lived experiences, focusing on both insight and practical coping skills. I believe therapy works best when it is personalized, culturally responsive, and rooted in trust, empowerment, and meaningful connection.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment-free environment to help them begin building rapport. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences while also answering any questions you have about the therapy process. The first session is focused on connection, clarity, and setting a foundation for collaborative, individualized care.
