I worked as a Forensic Registered Nurse for more than 18. years. My experiences included working with individuals who struggle with Schizoaffective disorders, Bipolar 1 and 2 disorders, schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, General Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and other mental/behavioral issues. I obtained a Master's Degree in Nursing at Western Connecticut State University and specialized in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am licensed as such and board-certified.

My approach to therapy

I establish a therapeutic alliance and a nonjudgmental approach with my clients. My client will be treated with respect, and active listening will empower the client to make good decisions and get involved in planning recovery treatment.

My client will be actively involved in their treatment planning and any decision-making concerning his/her treatment thus promoting treatment compliance and positive outcome.
