I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Texas. I have several years of experience working with adults diagnosed with mental health illness. I am an Army Veteran and I am familiar with military life and the impact it may have on the soldiers and their family, and those transitioning out of the military. I have worked over 5 years as a medical social worker and I believe in the importance of treating the mind, body, and soul/spirit.
I use a holistic approach in therapy, that includes CBT, mindfulness, person-centered therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
I have been a witness to the barriers and stigma associated with having a mental health diagnosis; and I have been a part of clients’ successes as I partnered with them to improve their quality of life; I would like to do that for you as well. I want to provide you with a judgement-free atmosphere where you can speak freely. I offer a partnership in the treatment process and guidance in counseling.
