Great to meet you!

I strive to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment. I value building real, honest connections and believe that therapy works best when it feels like a conversation, not something forced or overly structured. I use humor, compassion, and curiosity to help clients feel at ease while also supporting them through difficult moments. I see each person as unique and make it a priority to understand their experiences, not just their symptoms.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, meaning I meet clients where they are and work with them to create goals that feel meaningful and realistic. I often use a mix of approaches like CBT, solution-focused techniques, and mindfulness, depending on what fits best for the client. I focus on helping clients understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also building practical skills they can use in their daily life. I also check in often to make sure therapy is helpful and adjust the approach if needed.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you. We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to work on, and any questions or concerns you may have. I will guide the conversation, but there is no pressure to share everything all at once. We will also begin identifying goals and what you would like therapy to look like moving forward. Most importantly, it is a chance for you to see if you feel comfortable and if this feels like a good fit.
