My approach to therapy

Thorough quality care on a continuum is provided throughout our sessions ensuring adequate information and education are discussed regularly regarding all aspects of your treatment as well as providing supportive therapy related to both medication management as well as discussing internal and external stressors to help identify and manage emotional triggers.

In establishing a strong therapeutic alliance with an understanding and respect regarding your beliefs and goals as well as exploring the past to align the history regarding patterns of emotional schemas while actively engaging and applying a behavioral methodical approach within each session. As Psychiatric NP I develop treatment plan together with the client based on client's needs and level of comfort : medication, therapy or a combination of both.
