Great to meet you!

Greetings! I use my training in Neuroscience and Emotionally Focused Therapy in concert to work effectively through disconnects within yourself and others. I believe in a client-centered approach, unconditional positive regard, and a client-therapist relationship that provides emotional safety and emotional growth. I help my clients integrate their emotions into their lives in a way that is functional and improves their relationships and their quality of life.

My approach to therapy

I believe clients have good instincts and like to ask my clients to collaborate with me in developing strategies and interventions. I also believe in experiential therapy, so my therapy includes actions in addition to dialogue. Here are some resources to better explain my paradigm/style.

What you can expect from me

I hope to embolden clients to walk away feeling empowered to find and speak their authentic truth and share it in order to effect change. This increased congruence can decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety by leading to more connection and less confusion. Over time my clients become less reactive and more empathetic.
