Great to meet you!

I have over 20 years of experience in the behavioral health field and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The Catholic University of America. I have worked with individuals and couples from many different cultural backgrounds and value creating a space where clients feel respected, understood, and safe. I am an affirming ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and strive to offer care that is inclusive and compassionate. I view therapy as a collaborative and holistic process that honors the connection between the mind and body.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered—you are in the driver’s seat, and I am here to support you along the way. I focus on listening deeply, understanding your experiences, and providing practical skills and tools to help you reach your goals. I see my role as both supportive and gently challenging, helping you gain insight while building confidence in your ability to create meaningful change. My work is holistic and tailored to each client, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we focus on getting to know you and what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about your concerns, goals, and what you hope to gain from our work together, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences while ensuring you feel heard and supported. Together, we’ll begin creating a plan that aligns with your needs and sets the foundation for your therapeutic journey.
