Great to meet you!

As a Dominican-American therapist I am dedicated to the Latino community mental health providing services in English and Spanish. In the last 17 years I have worked with individuals and families offering culturally responsive and Trauma Informed services. I hold an accounting degree from Universidad APEC (UNAPEC), a bachelor’s in psychology from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago (UTESA) and a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

My approach to therapy

I have dedicated my practice to support women in healing from abuse and trauma, and to learn to cope with life changes and stressors by building upon their strength and resilience. Healing from trauma allow us to be more present in our lives, relate better with our loved ones, and move forward to achieve our full potential. I am trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, and Family Systems approach.

What you can expect from me

I believe that we heal in the presence of compassion and understanding. In sessions I support emotional awareness, self-understanding and promote mind-body connection that supports client's nervous system regulation. This allows the clients to look at themselves with love and compassion to embrace all parts of their being and bring balance into life.
