Great to meet you!

Are you more stressed than you would like to be? Often bothered by troubling thoughts? When you get upset, is it hard to settle your mind and body? You also might be struggling with an unhealthy connection to food, exercise, or how you view your body. Perhaps you hesitate to build new connections with people because you're afraid of being hurt, making it tough to socialize or step beyond what feels safe. You’ve probably put a lot of effort into finding relief, only to feel stuck. I work with men, women, couples, parents, young adults, and adolescents (10+).

I’ve called Nashville home since 2005 when I moved to study music business at Belmont University. During my college years, I was drawn to social work and counseling after spending time on mission trips working with orphans and survivors of human trafficking. I went on to earn my Master's in Social Work at the University of Tennessee.

My approach to therapy

I frequently work with individuals who feel consumed by their emotions and struggle with their relationships. I am a specialized trauma therapist trained in EMDR, IFS, Inner Child, Somatic work, and Gottman Couples Therapy. I also love to utilize film, TV, music, and art as a healing modality.

What you can expect from me

Our first session would be a time for me to get to know you and create a safe, comfortable space for us to start this journey. We would discuss your goals and create a plan for both short-term and long-term goals.
