Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish), first-generation Dominican-American Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New Jersey. I provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapy for adults, teens, and children, with a particular understanding of first-generation Latinas navigating anxiety, depression, family dynamics, identity, guilt, boundaries, relationship concerns, and intergenerational patterns. I understand how culture, immigration, family expectations, and the pressure to be “the strong one” can shape emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, culturally affirming, and trauma-informed. I draw from CBT, narrative therapy, family-systems approaches, mindfulness, and other evidence-based strategies based on each client’s needs. We may explore the connection between current symptoms and the roles, beliefs, relationships, and cultural messages you learned along the way. I believe healing can include honoring where you come from while also creating healthier patterns, stronger boundaries, and a life that feels authentic to you.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we make sense of what they are experiencing and turn insight into practical change. Together, we may work on coping skills, emotional regulation, communication, boundaries, self-trust, and healthier relationship patterns. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more understood, more grounded, and better equipped to make choices that honor both your well-being and your values.

If you have questions, feel free to give me a call at 732-723-8082.
