Great to meet you!

I’m Ingrid Webb, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of Social Work experience helping individuals work through anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood-related challenges. My background spans medical, community, and correctional settings, which has given me a deep understanding of how complex and unique each person’s experience can be.

I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Auburn University and my Master of Social Work from Troy University. Throughout my career, I’ve worked as a medical social worker, child abuse investigator, supervisor, and hospice social worker—experiences that have shaped my ability to meet clients where they are with both compassion and clinical insight.

My approach to therapy

My approach is both supportive and direct. I use evidence-based therapies such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques, while tailoring each session to what works best for you. I focus on helping you better understand your thoughts and emotions, improve coping, and create meaningful, lasting change.

In our work together, you can expect a space where you feel heard and respected—while also being gently challenged to grow. If you’re ready for practical tools, honest conversations, and real progress, I’m here to help you move forward. I believe therapy should be both compassionate and empowering, helping you build on your strengths and move toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a comfortable, no-pressure space where we start to understand what’s been weighing on you and what you’d like to change. I’ll ask a few focused questions to get a clear picture of your concerns, background, and goals, while giving you space to share at your own pace. My approach is supportive but direct—I’ll begin offering insight and practical next steps right away. You’ll also have the chance to ask questions and make sure I’m the right fit for you. By the end, you can expect to feel heard and have a clear direction moving forward.
