As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I currently see clients across the life span from 6 years old to 80 plus. Prior to being a practitioner, I was a nursing educator and I continue to teach pharmacology so I am familiar with the medications I prescribe. I am married and have four adult children. My hobbies are traveling and shopping.
I am direct in my approach and will tell you what I see. We work together as a team and I will recommend what I think you need and you will have to agree with it before it is prescribed. I will also refer to a therapist if we agree it is needed.
Once an evaluation is completed, I am able to provide a diagnosis, medication treatment and a referral to a therapist if necessary.
