Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a masters degree from Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work as well as a post-masters in advanced clinical practice from NYU. My clinical approach is holistic and collaborative as we explore what steps to take toward living in greater harmony and inner balance. I believe a "strengths-based" model allows for self discovery that can lead to personal empowerment.

My approach to therapy

My style of therapy is conversational, collaborative, and empathic. According to your needs, I may utilize theoretical frameworks that foster internal insight and balance, changing unhealthy negative core beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors, and a solution-focused therapy that stresses the resources and skills that you already possess in order to find solutions to problems.

What you can expect from me

In a collaborative partnership, the client is encouraged to recognize their own strengths in order to solve problems that have impacted their quality of life. They take away a "tool kit" of solutions, communication skills, creative coping mechanisms, and a better approach to understanding healthy relationships.
