Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and 16 years of clinical experience. I work with individuals, couples, and families at my practice in Irvine and Los Alamitos, California. As a young immigrant raised in the United States, I understand firsthand the complexity of navigating cultural identity and life transitions, and I am passionate about supporting clients from diverse backgrounds. I am bilingual in Mandarin and Taiwanese. My work centers on trauma, anxiety, relationship struggles, life transitions, women's issues, and parenting, and I facilitate therapy groups for teens, women, parents, and those working on anger management.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a person-centered approach, where you are the expert on your own life and I am here to walk alongside you as you untangle what is holding you back. You may appear strong and capable on the outside while carrying anxiety, unresolved pain, or the weight of always taking care of others. Our work together focuses on slowing down, understanding what lies beneath your reactions, and reconnecting with your authentic self. The moment you reach out, change has already begun.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance to get to know each other and for me to understand what has brought you here and what you are hoping for. I will listen carefully and create a space where you feel genuinely heard. It is not about what is wrong, but about beginning something new. I look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
