Great to meet you!

I am a multilingual Filipino-American Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Vallejo, California, and an official external provider for faculty and staff at UCSF and UC Berkeley. With sixteen years of experience, I help adults navigate the complexities of living between cultures. My work is grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. As an immigrant myself, I understand the challenges of balancing different worlds, and I honor the strengths and vulnerabilities that come with those experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on empathy and authenticity. I believe real healing happens when you feel genuinely seen and accepted, just as you are. I meet clients exactly where they are—without judgment or expectation. Drawing from CBT, psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapies, I adapt my work to fit your needs. I strive to create a space where you don’t have to translate your experience or fit into a mold; your cultural context and lived story are always central to our work together.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can share your story at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you may have. My priority is to help you feel safe, heard, and respected as we begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and authenticity.
