Great to meet you!

Getting to Know Your Therapist

I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine and engaging, which is why I bring warmth, appropriate humor, and an interactive approach to every session. As a client-centered therapist, I tailor our work specifically to your unique needs and goals, incorporating holistic methods that honor your mind-body connection. You can expect more than just talking .I love using creative tools like homework assignments, helpful videos, handouts, and therapeutic activities to support your growth between sessions. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where healing feels natural and empowering.

My approach to therapy

I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and grow, and I'm here to help you tap into that inner strength.

I use proven, practical methods that really work:

DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy): Simple skills to handle intense emotions when they feel overwhelming

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Tools to change negative thought patterns that hold you back

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): Ways to live more fully in line with what matters most to you

Body-based techniques: Gentle practices to help you feel connected and grounded in your own body

I'm not the type of therapist who just sits quietly and takes notes. I'm actively involved in your journey, asking questions, offering feedback, and working alongside you as a supportive partner. Building a warm, trusting relationship is the foundation of everything we do together.

Our sessions include practical tools you can use right away: helpful worksheets, short videos, creative activities, and simple homework assignments that actually make sense for your daily life. I bring appropriate humor to lighten difficult moments, while always maintaining a safe, respectful space where you can be yourself.

You're the expert on your life. My role is to provide guidance, tools, and support while you take the lead. I work with people from all walks of life and honor your unique background, culture, and experiences.

Whether you're dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, motherhood challenges, first-generation struggles, relationship issues, or big life transitions—I'm here to support your complete wellbeing: mind, body, and spirit.

Together, we'll create a nurturing space where you can heal, grow, and step into the person you're meant to become.

What you can expect from me

This initial session is designed to help you feel comfortable, heard, and hopeful about what's possible.

We'll start in a relaxed, welcoming space where you can share your story at your own pace. There's no pressure to perform or say the "right" things—just authentic conversation where I listen with genuine care and understanding. I might share some light humor to help ease any nerves, because therapy shouldn't feel intimidating!

During our time together, we'll explore:

• What brought you here and what you're hoping to change

• Your strengths and the things you're already doing well

• Your goals for therapy and what a better life would look like for you

• How we can work together to make those changes happen

By the end of our first session, you'll have:

• A clear sense of direction for our work together

• Practical first steps you can take immediately

• Confidence that you've found the right support for your journey

• Relief from having taken that important first step

Remember, this is YOUR time and YOUR process. I'm here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and tools every step of the way. You don't have to figure it all out at once, we'll do it together one session at a time.
