Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University and over 12 years of clinical experience. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, low self esteem, trauma, relationship issues and addiction and have worked in a variety of settings with people from all age groups and walks of life. I offer a compassionate environment for clients to feel safe and understood through life's inevitable changes and challenges. I work with each individual in a collaborative approach determining the best strategies to address their needs and help them achieve their goals. Pain, stagnancy and hopelessness are struggles everyone faces at some point. This journey of healing, growth, self-discovery and freedom is yours. It is an honor to be a part of that and I welcome you to take your first steps towards a positive change today.

Strengths

I always strive to provide an environment of compassion, empathy, openness and collaboration to encourage you to feel safe, supported and understood through life’s inevitable changes and challenges. I serve as an ally who will work with you to recognize and build your strengths through hardships and realize your potential to live the life you want.

My approach to therapy

Treatment methods

Eclectic

I use different approaches tailored to each individual to make sure your needs and goals are met.

What you can expect from me

First session

The first session is to get to know the client and understand what brought them to therapy. The client will have a protected space to share their story, needs, goals and expectations as well as feel a sense of relief as we work together to identify the best approach and course of action. Meanwhile, my goal is to create an atmosphere of comfort where you can speak freely, share your concerns, and know that you are not alone and that there is hope.
