Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Iris, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I work with adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, mood changes, attention difficulties, or stress that’s making daily life harder than it should be.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on the whole person. I believe mental health care should go beyond simply treating symptoms. Together, we’ll explore the factors that may be affecting how you feel—from life stressors and sleep to hormonal changes and metabolic health—and create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you.

In addition to psychiatric medication management, I also incorporate hormone-informed mental health care and medical weight management, recognizing how closely emotional well-being, hormones, and physical health are connected.

My goal is for you to feel heard, supported, and empowered with a clear path forward.

You don’t have to navigate this alone—support is here when you’re ready.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and centered on the whole person. I believe meaningful mental health treatment starts with truly listening and understanding each individual’s story. No two people experience anxiety, depression, or life stress in the same way, which is why I take time to learn about your experiences, lifestyle, health history, and personal goals.

Together, we explore the bigger picture of what may be influencing how you feel—whether that involves life transitions, chronic stress, sleep patterns, hormonal changes, or other health factors that can affect emotional well-being.

From there, we create a personalized plan tailored to your needs. This may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle guidance, and when appropriate, hormone-informed care or medical weight management.

Above all, I aim to provide a warm, supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and involved in your care. My goal is not just symptom relief, but helping you regain balance, resilience, and a stronger sense of well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a relaxed and supportive conversation focused on getting to know you. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you feel heard and understood—not rushed or judged.

We’ll talk about what brought you in, the symptoms or challenges you’ve been experiencing, and any factors that may be affecting your mental health, such as stress, sleep, lifestyle, medical history, or hormonal changes. I’ll also ask about your goals so we can begin identifying what meaningful improvement looks like for you.

By the end of the visit, we’ll discuss initial impressions and develop a personalized plan that may include medication options, supportive strategies, or further evaluation if needed.

Most importantly, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your symptoms and a thoughtful path forward. You don’t have to figure everything out alone—we’ll take the next steps together.
