Great to meet you!

I am a 1st generation Taiwanese-American immigrant who came to the US as an adolescent. I can conduct therapy in fluent Mandarin, Cantonese, Taiwanese, and English. I am a full-time self-employee and mother of 2. Two decades ago, I changed careers from Engineering B.S, to Business M.M, to Counseling/Behavioral Science M.Ed. therapy. I am currently working on my Ph.D in Clinical Sexology. I empathize with work/life balance issues, stress/time management, and career transition/satisfaction.

My approach to therapy

My core goal is to empower individuals, couples and families to make healthy, positive changes in their professional and personal lives. I have extensive experience working with families, elderly, couples, members with disabilities or special needs, at-risk adolescents, and college students. My therapeutic practices are solution focused, narrative, integrated, cognitive-behavioral, collaborative, client-centered, goal and emotionally-focused, with a family systems and structure therapy basis.

What you can expect from me

I enjoy working with clients of diverse ethnicities, ages, genders, backgrounds, and situations. I routinely help clients work through issues of marital/sexual satisfaction, anxiety, depression, aging, communication, acceptance, parenting, relationship, identity, generational/cultural, values/conflicts, immigration and international marriages.
