Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor, I believe that therapy can be beneficial for anyone on their journey to find happiness and stability. Seeking help is often the hardest part, so congratulations on taking the first step! My background working at a community mental health center has allowed me to work with people at all stages of life who are struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and other issues; however, I have found that I connect best with adolescent and young adults clients struggling with anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

Though my preferred treatment modality is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), I believe that everyone has a unique story that deserves a tailored approach. You are the expert of your life, and once we decide to work with each other, we will act as partners in your therapeutic journey so you feel supported and empowered. It is important to me that we are open and honest with each other and that you feel respected in our counseling relationship. I will be there to listen with an open mind, to challenge you when needed, and to help you achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

I like to begin our counseling relationship with a short consultation call to ensure that I am a good fit for your needs. Therapy will begin with an introductory session where you'll be able to share your story and what you are hoping to achieve. I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable opening up and being vulnerable, while also feeling safe and secure. From there, we'll work together each session to move closer to your goal.
