Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with first-generation, high-achieving professionals, especially eldest daughters of immigrant families who are navigating burnout, perfectionism, and the pressure of always being the one who holds everything together.

Many of my clients are used to overfunctioning, achieving, and pushing through while silently carrying anxiety, guilt, and emotional exhaustion. My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and focused on helping you step out of survival mode. Together, we work on unlearning patterns of people-pleasing, self-sacrifice, and chronic over-responsibility while building boundaries, self-compassion, and a stronger sense of identity outside of achievement and family roles.

Therapy with me is both reflective and practical, you’ll gain deeper insight into your patterns, along with tools to create real, sustainable change in your daily life.

My approach to therapy

If you’re the eldest daughter in a first-generation immigrant family, you’ve likely spent years being “the responsible and successful one” on the outside, but overwhelmed, exhausted, and anxious underneath.

In our work together, you can expect a grounded, supportive space where burnout, perfectionism, and emotional overload are taken seriously without judgment.

We’ll focus on reducing overwhelm, quieting your inner critic, and breaking the cycle of overfunctioning. You’ll learn how to set boundaries without guilt and begin to feel more balanced, present, and emotionally regulated in your daily life.

This is therapy for high-achieving women who are tired of surviving on autopilot and ready to feel like themselves again.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a space to finally put words to what’s been feeling heavy. We’ll talk about what brought you in, whether that’s burnout, anxiety, perfectionism, family expectations, career pressure, or the emotional weight of always being the dependable one.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll start with where you are and gently map out the patterns contributing to stress, overfunctioning, and emotional exhaustion.

You can expect a calm, validating space where your experience makes sense, and where we begin building a path toward relief, balance, and a stronger sense of self beyond your roles and responsibilities.
