Great to meet you!

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply tired of carrying everything on your own. You may know something needs to change, even if you are not quite sure what that change looks like yet. I work with adults and older adults navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, identity, substance use, grief, and the challenges that can come with health and life changes.

I’m a licensed independent social worker with an MSW and DSW, and my background includes behavioral health and integrated care. One thing I’ve learned through this work is that our well-being is rarely just about what is happening inside of us. Our relationships, culture, health, communities, and the environments we live in matter too. Sometimes feeling stuck or disconnected makes a lot more sense when we look at the whole picture.

You do not need to come to therapy with the right words or a perfectly defined goal. We can start with what is weighing on you, make sense of it together, and figure out what moving forward might look like for you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy starts with the person, not just the symptoms. Your story, relationships, culture, and lived experience are the foundation we build on. In sessions, we look at the thoughts and patterns that keep you stuck, build on the strengths and coping skills you already carry, and identify concrete steps that fit your actual life. For clients working through anxiety, substance use, or relationship strain, this often means noticing what triggers the cycle, practicing different responses, and finding approaches that are more sustainable over time. My style is warm and direct, and I want sessions to feel like something we are working through together.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a space where there’s room to think out loud, be honest, and take things at your own pace. In our first session, we’ll focus on what’s weighing on you most, what you’ve already tried, and what feeling better might actually look like in your day-to-day life. My goal is that you leave feeling heard and a little clearer, and over time more confident in how you respond to what life brings.
