I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) at Kendall South Medical Center in Miami. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from St. Thomas University and have worked in nursing since 2010, including hospice, rehabilitation and long-term care. I see adults and older adults, and I provide care in both English and Spanish.
I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD and panic disorder. I combine medication with supportive therapy grounded in CBT and motivational interviewing, and I work with you to build a plan that fits your goals and daily life. I offer visits in person at our office and by telehealth.
In our first visit we'll talk about what brings you in, your history, current medications and what you hope to change. I'll explain my assessment and your treatment options in plain language, and together we'll agree on a plan and next steps. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and with a clear path forward.
