I have worked in various clinical settings, from CPS to the National Gaurd and private practice. I have worked for the National Gaurd for two years and specialize in trauma, knowing it can be challenging to talk about. I would love to walk with you on this next part of your healing journey.
I am a certified Accelerated Resolution Therapy therapist. This is an evidence-based practice that promotes healing using eye movements which is similar to EMDR. I have also received a certificate in Trauma-focused CBT. I specialize in helping trauma survivors find their voice to take healing back into their hands. I am person-centered and will encourage my clients to find their inner child to find healing within themselves.
I am a strength-based therapist and will often encourage my clients to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their stories. This will help them increase their confidence upon leaving a session, and they are ready to take the tools they have learned in therapy and use them in their daily lives.
