Great to meet you!

Hi, there! I'm Isabella, and I believe therapy is an opportunity to reconnect with the most authentic, grounded, and self-accepting version of yourself. Sometimes life experiences, relationships, fear, shame, and expectations can pull us away from who we truly are. My hope is to help you make sense of your pain, and reconnect with yourself through greater self-compassion, curiosity, and acceptance.

I have experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship concerns, burnout, self-esteem, and identity exploration.

Clients often tell me that I’m “the realest therapist they’ve ever had,” and I take that as one of the greatest compliments. I also believe laughter has a place in healing and clients describe me as having a sense of humor with a bit of quirkiness.

I have a special passion and extensive experience working with women, LGBTQ+ individuals, BIPOC communities, and neurodivergent adults. I strive to create an affirming and culturally responsive space where clients feel safe being fully themselves and exploring the parts of their story that may have been difficult to share elsewhere. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and welcome both languages in sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you as you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, explore patterns, and identify the changes that feel meaningful to you.

I use a client-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based approach, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, and other approaches based on each client’s unique needs.

I’m naturally curious, and one of my favorite parts of this work is asking thoughtful questions that help clients gain new perspectives and understand themselves in deeper ways.

What you can expect from me

If you're ready to dive deep with someone gentle, honest, and fully in your corner—welcome!

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, learning about your experiences, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together. You do not need to have everything figured out before we meet. Part of our work is making sense of what you’re experiencing and discovering what support would be most helpful.

Some sessions may involve deep reflection and difficult emotions. Others may include moments of relief, laughter, or new perspectives. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of how we can work together moving forward.
