Great to meet you!

I’m Isaiah Crum, MD, a board-certified psychiatrist in New York City. I work with Black professionals who are excelling on paper and quietly struggling underneath. People navigating predominantly white spaces, carrying the weight of high achievement, and rarely getting room to not be okay.

I know that experience firsthand. I built this practice because you deserve psychiatric care that understands your life, not just your symptoms.

My approach to therapy

I treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and OCD. Sessions combine medication management with supportive therapy, built to fit a demanding schedule without losing depth.

I’m direct. I don’t spend long on the surface. What brings someone in is often not the whole story, and I’d rather get to the real thing with you than manage symptoms around it.

What you can expect from me

A conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ve already tried, and what you want your life to feel like.

You don’t have to have it figured out before you get here. You don’t have to keep performing fine.
