Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Israa — I work with adult individuals and couples who are navigating identity challenges, trauma, relationship struggles, family dynamics, and emotional overwhelm.

I’m so glad you’re here and considering therapy. I know it’s not always easy to reach out for support, and I want to create a space where you feel truly seen and heard.

As a first-generation Arab-American therapist, I understand what it’s like to feel caught in the middle between cultures, expectations, relationships, and your own needs. My clients often describe feeling like they have no “side” to fully belong to, and that’s where our work begins — helping you reconnect with yourself, your values, and your voice.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative, client-centered approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with elements of EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) depending on the needs of the client. I also pull from a trauma-focused and attachment-based perspective, helping clients understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape how they relate to themselves and others.

My style is direct but compassionate — I believe in meeting clients where they are, while also gently challenging the patterns that no longer serve them. Humor, authenticity, and cultural nuance are essential to how I connect with clients.

What you can expect from me

Clients often leave sessions with deeper clarity about their emotions, a better understanding of their patterns, and practical strategies for change. You can expect to feel both supported and encouraged to take actionable steps toward healing. Whether we’re unpacking relationship dynamics, generational expectations, or internalized beliefs, I aim to help you feel seen, grounded, and empowered in your growth.
