Great to meet you!

I’m a trauma-informed therapist with a professional background rooted in working with people from all walks of life — from justice-involved individuals to high-level executives. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in Clinical Social Work, an Advanced Substance Use Disorder Counseling Certificate, and have received extensive training in trauma and addictions.

My work is grounded in evidence-based trauma treatment, including EMDR, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and trauma reprocessing approaches that go beyond traditional talk therapy. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship wounds, and major life transitions, serving adults who are ready for real, lasting change.

Having worked across systems and cultures, I bring a strong understanding of intersectionality, power dynamics, and how life experiences shape the nervous system. Clients often describe my style as warm, grounded, and empowering. My goal isn’t to keep you in therapy — it’s to help you resolve what’s holding you back so you can graduate from therapy and step fully into your life with clarity, confidence, and wholeness.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends deep clinical expertise with a warm, human connection and a strong focus on meaningful, timely results. I bring extensive training in trauma, addiction, and nervous system regulation, along with a Master’s in Clinical Social Work and advanced substance use counseling, which allows me to work skillfully with complex histories while keeping therapy practical and focused.

I believe therapy should feel both safe and effective — compassionate enough to honor your story, and intentional enough to create real change. From the very first session, we work toward understanding what’s keeping you stuck and gently but purposefully moving toward resolution using evidence-based trauma reprocessing methods like EMDR, ART, and EMD.

My style is collaborative, grounded, and respectful. You won’t be rushed, pushed, or pathologized — but you also won’t be left circling the same pain without direction. We move at a pace that honors your nervous system while still building momentum toward relief.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing is possible — not just coping, not endless therapy, but true resolution. My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and steadily moving toward clarity, freedom, and the ability to graduate from therapy with confidence.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where you don’t have to perform or have it all figured out — just come as you are. We’ll get to know what’s bringing you in, what you’ve already tried, and what real healing would look like for you, not just relief but meaningful change.

I believe in not wasting time, so we’ll gently but intentionally jump into the process from the start. You won’t just talk — we’ll begin identifying what’s keeping you stuck and, when appropriate, start working toward solutions right away using trauma-informed and reprocessing-based approaches.

You’ll leave the first session with:

  • A clear sense of whether we’re a good fit
  • A personalized plan moving forward
  • Tools to help you feel calmer and more grounded
  • A sense of hope that change can begin sooner than you expected

My goal is to help you feel supported, empowered, and already moving toward relief — from the very first session — so therapy feels like progress, not just conversation.
