Great to meet you!

Ivan is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward wholeness, resilience, and meaningful change. His approach to therapy is rooted in an eclectic, client-centered framework that draws from Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and trauma-informed care. He believes healing unfolds through a collaborative therapeutic relationship that honors each person’s lived experience, cultural context, and unique strengths. He brings a bicultural perspective to my practice that helps me meet clients where they are, in both language and lived reality.

My approach to therapy

His work focuses on helping clients bridge the gaps between past and present experiences by creating space for understanding, integration, and growth. By blending evidence-based interventions with compassion and cultural humility, he aims to foster self-awareness, emotional regulation, and a deeper sense of self-connection. Whether navigating the impact of trauma, processing life transitions, or strengthening coping strategies, he guides clients toward greater clarity, empowerment, and psychological well-being.

Ivan is available for in-person or Virtual Telehealth sessions for adolescents, and adults 13+.
