Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ivanna! As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I’m passionate about walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges. I know what it’s like to face role transitions. These parts of my journey fuel my commitment to creating a safe and understanding space for healing.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have worked with children, teens, adults, and families, including unaccompanied minors in shelter care and adults living with serious mental illness. My clinical focus includes trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, CBT, DBT, and culturally sensitive approaches. Whether you’re experiencing trauma, anxiety, or navigating big life changes, I aim to provide therapy that feels supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, trauma-informed, and client-centered. I believe each person’s story is unique, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered. I integrate evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Seeking Safety while tailoring treatment to each client’s cultural background, personal values, and individual goals.

Because of my experience working with children, families, and adults in diverse settings—from community mental health to ORR shelters—I recognize the importance of flexibility and meeting clients where they are. I view therapy as a partnership: we work together to build coping skills, process past experiences, and strengthen resilience so clients can navigate both present challenges and future growth with confidence.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions with practical tools for managing emotions, coping with stress, and building healthier relationships. My goal is for each client to feel understood, supported, and empowered as we work together on their unique goals. Over time, clients often gain deeper self-awareness, improved coping skills, and the confidence to face challenges with resilience. Whether we’re addressing trauma, life transitions, or daily stressors, I focus on helping clients leave each session with a sense of progress, hope, and direction.
