Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Ivonne Espinosa, and I’m a board-certified nurse practitioner with over fifteen years of experience in primary care, psychiatry, and integrated mental health. I’m the founder and CEO of Samsara Healthcare, PLLC, a practice built on compassion, accessibility, and the belief that healing begins with feeling truly heard and understood.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders. I have a special interest in medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder and have developed programs to support individuals on their recovery journey. I also enjoy working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar and schizophrenia, always with a focus on dignity, autonomy, and wellness.

I take a collaborative and holistic approach to care, blending evidence-based treatment with a deep respect for your lived experience. Whether this is your first step or a continuation of your mental health journey, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and expertise.

Let’s take the next step together.

My approach to therapy

I believe that true healing begins with a strong, trusting relationship. From our very first conversation, I focus on listening deeply to understand your unique story, challenges, and strengths. Together, we will develop a personalized care plan that respects your values and needs.

My practice integrates both physical and mental health perspectives. I draw on evidence-based treatments and tailor them to address not only your symptoms but also the underlying factors contributing to your distress. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, or managing a chronic condition, I work to support your overall well-being by considering all aspects of your health.

I prioritize empowering my clients by providing clear, accessible information about their treatment options. I encourage active participation in the care process, helping you to understand why certain interventions are recommended and how they can make a difference in your life. I believe that informed decisions lead to stronger, more sustainable outcomes.

What you can expect from me

My approach to care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep respect for your unique journey. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing.

I take a holistic and person-centered approach, which means I consider all aspects of your well-being; emotional, physical, social, and spiritual as we work together. My role is to walk alongside you, offering evidence-based support while honoring your voice, values, and lived experiences.

In our work together, we’ll set goals that reflect what matters most to you, whether it’s reducing anxiety or depression, improving daily functioning, navigating life transitions, or developing healthy coping strategies. I also work with many clients on long-term recovery and stability, especially those managing complex mental health conditions or substance use disorders.

Some common outcomes I support clients in achieving include:

  • Improved emotional regulation and stress management
  • Increased self-awareness and confidence
  • Strengthened relationships and communication skills
  • Enhanced sense of purpose, hope, and quality of life

No matter what brings you in, my goal is to offer a healing space where you feel supported and equipped to move forward.
