Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Ivy Ofori, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC). I graduated from Wayland Baptist University, in San Antonio Texas and received a master’s degree in Counseling.

My approach to counseling is mainly client driven. I apply principles of cognitive restructuring to help my clients make better realistic choices.

My approach to therapy

I love to see my clients take their lives back as they slowly understand, learn and accept the need to love self before anything or anyone else. Using unconditional positive regard, I help my clients not to feel judged but loved and embrace life as it comes along. I also meet my clients where they are as we work and walk closely together until they understand their struggles and how to accept change.

What you can expect from me

To help clients reduce or clear up overall frequency, intensity and duration of any past trauma or unresolved emotions, so that daily functioning is not impaired.

To help clients reconnect with themselves and to find the best version of themselves.
