Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Ivy! I've been a therapist for about ten years now; I've worked with many different populations and settings; in-home, residential, out-patient. I graduated from Rutgers with my degree in Social Work; over my time practicing I have grown to love working with women in their 20's and older navigate this often messy world; decreasing anxiety and depression symptoms, processing any trauma, working on relationships and increasing their feeling of overall wellbeing and safety in the world.

My approach to therapy

I believe that everyone is the expert of themselves; and I am just honored to be able to walk beside a person on their journey. I am warm, non-judgmental and I prefer to team up with you to create the best change. Every individual will need different things; approaches, techniques, coping skills. I'll be right beside you as we explore what works best to bring healing and well-being into your life.

What you can expect from me

I provide clients with the safety, warmth and non judgemental space to explore their inner worlds; process any unprocessed emotions/traumas; gain new perspectives and integrate a new sense of healthy being into their lives. I work with people to identify their resources, or build them up if they are scarce; find grounding and peace and finally exit the patterns that were causing them distress. I will always meet you where you are; it is after all, your session!
