Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Iza! I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a background that might surprise you. Before becoming a clinician, I spent years building a career in the fashion industry, working in both New York City and Los Angeles after graduating from Kent State University with a degree in Fashion Merchandising. It was a world I loved — creative, fast-paced, and full of beauty. But when the pace of the world shifted during Covid, I found myself drawn to something different: helping people in a real and meaningful way. That pull led me to Antioch University, where I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology and discovered another calling.

My work centers on trauma, anxiety, depression, women's issues, and family issues, though I also love working with clients on relationships, identity, grief, and stress. My approach is personalized and integrative, I draw from cognitive behavioral, attachment-based, psychodynamic, humanistic, and art therapy techniques, and shape our work together around what actually fits your life, not a one-size-fits-all model.

Together, we'll find what fits you. Whether you're navigating anxiety, healing old wounds, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, therapy is a space to slow down, get curious, and reconnect with your own voice.

My approach to therapy

I use a personalized, integrative approach, which means I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I draw from a range of therapeutic tools and tailor them to who you are and what you need. I show up to every session with warmth, curiosity, and genuine care, and I move at whatever pace feels right for you. There's no pressure to get somewhere before you're ready. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully honest, whether that means digging into something difficult or simply being heard.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I'll ask about what's bringing you to therapy right now, a bit about your history, and what you're hoping to get out of our work together. There's no script to follow. I want it to feel like a real conversation. By the end of our time, my hope is that you leave feeling heard, and that we have a clearer sense of what our work together could look like moving forward.
