Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who provides counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults. I earned both my Master’s degree and Educational Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University Montgomery. With a compassionate, client-centered approach, I partner with individuals to identify their strengths, navigate life’s challenges, and foster meaningful growth and healing.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences, gain insight, and develop practical tools for lasting change. My goal is to meet clients where they are, providing support and guidance throughout the healing process to promote greater well-being and an improved quality of life. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, adjustment difficulties, grief, chronic illness, parenting challenges, family conflict, work-related stress, behavioral concerns, and school-related issues.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and relaxation techniques, Solution-Focused Therapy, and supportive therapy to help clients improve their well-being and build more fulfilling lives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where they feel safe to share their experiences at their own pace. During the first session, I take the time to get to know each client by learning about their concerns, strengths, personal history, and goals for counseling. Together, we will discuss what led them to therapy, explore any challenges they may be facing, and identify areas they would like to improve.
