My clinical style encompasses evidence based treatment approaches which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Harm Reduction, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Open Dialogue in individual, family and group counseling. My desire is to learn and understand individual strengths and challenges in the therapeutic relationship to foster healing relationships and positive support networks by facilitating groups which encourage mental, physical and emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

We address mental heath and substance use concerns from a strength based harm reduction perspective. Family therapy provided utilizing the Open Dialogue approach. Youth empowerment and group services provided increase positive social networking and skill development. OASAS/DWI assessments available by approved provider

I am a solution focused Harm Reduction therapist utilizing strength based, self empowerment treatment methods. The goal is to foster change by providing empathy, support and skill development to achieve person-centered and person-identified goals. Individuals can expect to be heard and supported from the perspective of "meeting the individual or couple/family where there to begin the journey of where they would like to be.
