I am Joyce "Michele" McCook, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 30 years of experience in the medical field. My passion is to make mental health accessible, which drove me to build my own practice. I am here to offer personalized, compassionate care for your mental wellness journey.
My approach to providing mental health care centers on understanding each person's unique needs. I will work closely with each client to understand the unique challenges they face, and will provide evidence-based treatments with compassion and care. I will strive to empower clients to take charge of their mental health and to achieve wellness.
Clients will have their unique situations acknowledged and supported while using tools, strategies, and guidance to navigate their mental health journey. My goal is to foster self-awareness and help clients learn and manage coping skills, and build the confidence needed to manage their mental health more effectively
