Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with anxiety, trauma, PTSD, identity exploration, family dynamics, depression, stress, and relationship challenges.

I also support clients navigating creative blocks, life transitions, cultural identity, and the emotional effects of childhood experiences. Many of the individuals I work with describe feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to put their experiences into words — and that’s okay. Healing isn’t about perfection or having a polished story. It’s about beginning where you are.

My journey into becoming a therapist began well before I was born — shaped by the inheritance of generational mental health patterns within my family. As a teenager, I turned to art-making as a way to express and process what I didn’t yet have language for. That process sparked curiosity and eventually led me to explore psychology, anthropology, indigenous healing traditions, and later, art therapy as a modality that honors both mind and body.

My approach to therapy

I enjoy listening to client stories and helping people gain clearer personal understanding. I believe in the importance of goodness-of-fit in the therapeutic relationship, and I encourage feedback and collaboration every step of the way. My approach is integrated and tailored—drawing from humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, spiritual, somatic, experiential, and artistic modalities.

My goal is to help you build insight into patterns of thought, behavior, emotion, and relationship—while also developing tools to support healing, regulation, and change. Therapy with me can include art therapy, somatic reflection, exploring emotional needs, storytelling, or mindful awareness—depending on what feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first meeting is about slowing down, getting curious, and beginning to understand what brought you here. We’ll explore what feels heavy, what has been hard to name, and what you hope will shift. I work collaboratively with clients to develop insight into patterns of thinking, emotional responses, relationships, and behaviors.

During a session, we may examine multiple layers of your experience using tools such as CBT, human systems wheels for somatic awareness, art therapy for emotional expression, storytelling, imagination, and emotional identification. Together, we’ll begin forming a plan that supports acceptance, healing, and growth. Over time, we’ll expand meaningful coping strategies, deepen understanding, and create space for more clarity, connection, and alignment with what matters most.
