Great to meet you!

As a current licensed professional counselor and former teacher and school counselor, I have mostly worked with kids. I am looking to work with older teens, young adults, and moms. Since becoming a mom myself, I have a heart for maternal mental health and support. I am open to other populations, as well and am excited to work with you in your mental health journey!

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a partnership between me and you. I strive for us to work together to meet your individual goals. Some approaches I tend to lean in to are below, but everything can be personalized to your needs.

Therapy Approaches:

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
  • DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy)
  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) Other techniques that are tailored to your individual needs

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will go over the dos and don'ts of therapy, (For example, no driving during sessions, etc.) We will also go over informed consent and confidentiality. We will also use the time to get to know each other, so you can tell me what has brought you to therapy and we can start working on some goals. You may also use the first session to ask me anything you would like, as well. I want to make sure we are on the same page and a good fit for each other.
