Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jacinta Little, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and I'm so glad you're here.

I specialize in helping individuals who are navigating the often overwhelming challenges of relationships, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, substance use, PTSD, and the deep work of healing from trauma. Whether you're feeling stuck, hurting, or just trying to make sense of what you're going through, I offer a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to face it alone.

My approach is compassionate and collaborative—I believe in walking alongside you with care and respect, while gently helping you explore patterns, build insight, and develop tools to move forward. Together, we can work toward more clarity, connection, and emotional balance—one step at a time.

If you're ready to start healing, or even just curious about what that could look like, I’m here when you’re ready.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and accepted—and I’m committed to creating that kind of space for each of my clients.

I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach, which means I meet you where you are and honor your lived experience. I view therapy as a partnership—we work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, identify what’s no longer serving you, and build skills and insight that support lasting change.

My Style

Clients often describe my style as grounding, compassionate, and direct when needed. I integrate evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based approaches. When appropriate, I also draw on elements of Internal Family Systems (IFS), motivational interviewing, and attachment-focused work.

No two people are the same, so I tailor my approach to what works best for you—whether that’s helping you process past trauma, build emotional regulation skills, challenge unhelpful thoughts, or reconnect with your sense of self and purpose.

Areas of Focus

I specialize in supporting individuals struggling with:

  • Relationship issues and attachment patterns
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Depression and low self-worth
  • Bipolar disorders
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
  • Substance use and recovery
  • Post-traumatic stress and complex trauma

Whether you're facing a life transition, feeling overwhelmed, or working through something painful from your past, I’m here to support you with care, professionalism, and a deep respect for your journey.

What you can expect from me

In our sessions, you can expect to feel supported, respected, and truly listened to. My goal is to create a safe and grounded environment where you can show up just as you are—without fear of judgment or pressure to be anything other than human. Whether you’re feeling lost, overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Together, we’ll work toward building a deeper understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and how they may be impacting your life. You’ll learn practical tools to manage anxiety, regulate mood, set healthy boundaries, improve communication, and strengthen your sense of self. We’ll also focus on identifying patterns that may be rooted in past experiences or trauma and gently begin the work of healing and shifting them.

Some common goals we might work toward include:

  • Building self-awareness and emotional insight
  • Reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or overwhelm
  • Learning tools for emotional regulation and coping
  • Improving communication and relationship dynamics
  • Navigating grief, loss, or life transitions
  • Healing from trauma and reclaiming your sense of safety and agency
  • Strengthening your sense of identity, purpose, and self-worth
  • Creating healthier habits and boundaries that support your wellbeing

Ultimately, therapy with me is a space where growth happens through connection, curiosity, and compassion. It’s not about “fixing” you—because you’re not broken—it’s about helping you reconnect with your inner resilience, process what’s been hard to carry, and take meaningful steps toward the life you want.
