Great to meet you!

Jack's family moved to Dallas so he could attend seminary to study biblical counseling. During seminary, he spent three years in children's and youth ministry. Upon graduation, he went into public education and earned a Masters in School Counseling with a certificate in Clinical Mental Health. He is currently a Licensed Professional Counselor serving the Garland area as well as in his seventh year as a counselor at a counseling center in Dallas.

My approach to therapy

Jack's journey in counseling began over 20 years ago when he was battling a drug and alcohol addiction. Hope emerged unexpectedly through an insightful and caring counselor. This showed him how the kindness of God leads us in personal change. Over time, God was faithful to bring healing from the shame and anxiety that had caused so much pain and distress in Jack's life. This backstory provides the heart from which he comes alongside others in counseling.

What you can expect from me

Beginning the journey of counseling takes a lot of courage. Jack's is committed to providing a safe place for you to process your story. He believes it would be an honor to begin this journey toward hope and healing with you!
