Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Jack. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with eight years of experience helping adults and adolescents in Texas navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. I grew up in Baltimore, trained at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, and now work virtually with clients across the state. My approach is designed to bring you safety and clarity in your life, past, present, and future. I genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I work with, and I believe every person has more capacity for change than they give themselves credit for. Choosing the right therapist can be an exhausting process. Even if you’re just thinking of maybe starting therapy, feel free to give me a call. I would love to speak with you and help you figure this all out!

My approach to therapy

I draw from a wide variety of therapeutic techniques in order to best address your needs. These include CBT, DBT, and IFS. I am also trained in CRM, a neurobiological based therapy designed to help process and regulate trauma and other mental health symptoms. Whatever the approach, the goal is the same: you leave each session with something real, whether that's a new perspective, a concrete tool, or just a little more clarity than when you came in.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a real conversation. We will talk about what brought you here, what has already been tried, and what actually feeling better would look like for you. Most people leave the first session feeling surprised at how much ground we covered. By the end, you will have a clearer sense of what we will work on and that you made the right call in reaching out.
