Great to meet you!

Professionally, I’m a social worker because (a) I attended both University of Illinois at Springfield and Loyola University Chicago for social work, and (b) I’m now a LCSW (licensed clinical social worker), but personally I am a social worker because my soul yearns to be around people, listen to people, and create safe spaces for people to become vulnerable and self aware. For my belief is that with vulnerability-therein lies the power to become self-aware and establish peace for oneself.

My approach to therapy

I am focused on both the big picture and the small details all at once. So while I want you to make baby step progress towards your goals, I also want you to take big giant leaps towards your goals every once in a while. I will challenge you therapeutically to create an open and honest relationship with yourself. Solution focused, CBT, and psychodynamic theories guide my holistic practice when working with clients.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to take away a broader sense of the world, support, and a clearer understanding of how they’re being impacted by the world around them when leaving session with me.
